The below is a list of the best shopping locations in Bangkok Thailand. Please note that not all these places are actual indoor “malls”, however they are some of the most popular shopping destinations in Asia…and should not be missed during you trip to Thailand.
This is by far the are nicest mall in Bangkok. This huge mall has world class shopping featuring the biggest brand name clothing and nicest cinema in Thailand.
This is the largest mall in Thailand and the sixth largest mall in the world! It has everything from brand name clothing, fashion shops, tech gadgets, bookshops, furniture which can be imported and even an ice-skating rink.
Looking for well make knock off clothing? Come to this giant and chaotic mall. You’ll probably get lost, but you can find just anything you’re looking for from clothing to Thai antiques.
This the world’s largest weekend market featuring over 5,000 shopping stalls. Here you can buy clothing and items in bulk which will cost you pennies on dollar compared to other places in Thailand. Most shops are only open on the weekends, so plan accordingly.
Khao San Road is often called the, “The center of the backpacking universe”. I’ll go shopping here when I don’t feel like dealing with the zoo of MBK. Khao San Road is packed full of foreigners, so the shops are designed to only sell things that foreigners are most interested in. Which can cut down browsing time by quite a bit.
