There are plenty of animal parks and zoos in Bangkok. Take the kids or go alone to see some amazing animals up-close. Most of the parks and zoos are located a little way outside of the city, they can all be reached quickly. Spend the day appreciating this world’s fascinating creatures.
Siam Ocean World is an exciting subterranean aquarium featuring thousands of fish and other sea creatures. They make their homes around the world, but here you can see these diverse species all in one remarkable place. This is one of the biggest aquariums in Asia. Kids will love the opportunity to get close to sparkling fish as well as deadly stingrays and other amazing examples of sea life. Siam Ocean World is located beneath Siam Paragon Mall.
Safari World is a fun way to spend the day, especially for children. You can use your car or rent a vehicle here to weave your way through the safari environment. There are actually two parks. One is Safari World, and the other is Marine Park. Both feature creatures from all over the globe. At the Marine Park, you can enjoy great programs that are both educational and entertaining. You may also get to witness interesting activities such as the feeding of the animals. Safari World and Marine Park is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Get close to cobras, vipers, and other snakes at this remarkable farm. Located at the intersection of Rama IV and Henry Dunant Roads, the Bangkok Snake Farm has a good variety of snakes. You can witness fun and educational shows here. Don’t worry, the venom has been extracted. In fact, it is used to create anti-venoms. Visit the farm from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week or from 8:30 a.m. to noon on weekends.
Children will have a great time at Dusit Zoo. This is a large animal park that features some amazing wildlife, including white Bengal tigers. Dusit is enormous and is bordered by three roads, U-Thong Nai, Ratchavitee, and Rama V. Not far away are some other major attractions, including a palace. Ride the train or visit the educational center to complete your visit. Dusit Zoo is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Gorgeous butterflies fly through the enormous enclosure of the Bangkok Butterfly Garden. These remarkable creatures enjoy the beautiful flowers and rich plants that make up this unique garden. Do you best to get a picture of these sometimes elusive butterflies. The park is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Crocodile Farm and Zoo is home to creatures ranging from snakes to elephants. Shows feature these animals as well as big cats and monkeys. This is the biggest crocodile farm in the world and its aim is not just to entertain but also to educate. Visitors are sure to learn some fascinating information. The farm and zoo is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

I went to this place called “Monkey School” in Patong Beach. It was super shady and super awesome. My friend almost got bit by a not-so-tame monkey.
