I have a quick question for you. I’ll be traveling to Thailand later this summer. Are there any required vaccines I need to get done before visiting Thailand? If not required, any recommended vaccines?

Hey G***,
Thanks for your question.
There are no necessary vaccines you need to get before coming to Thailand.
Although some people recommend that you get the HPV vaccine. I personally haven’t done it yet, but it’s probably not a bad idea.
Hope this helps,

This is something i seriously contemplated before going to Bangkok in November 2014. Asked my doctor about it and they of course just referenced the CDC site. So they recommended Hep A…and maybe B. Cant remember if they said anything about Typhoid. Dr. ordered Hep A for me, but ended up never going in to get it. I asked a few other travelers on other blogs about it and the response was mixed with get them, get one or two, don’t get them you’ll be fine. I picked don’t get them.
I dont trust vaccines. And I dont trust doctors because they’ll never say anything negative about them….too scared of what Big Pharma will do to them or just ignorant to the facts.
Anyway I drank bottled water the whole time, brushed my teeth from bathroom tap, and I did eat some street food.
I haven’t been blood tested yet, but I dont think I have anything. Fingers crossed and knock on wood.
