There aren’t an overwhelming number of bars in Siam, but there are a few fun places to go and enjoy a drink. Many of the bars here are located in the hotels here, meaning that they are a bit more upscale than what you will find elsewhere. Take advantage of the great service and wonderful views of the city to be had at these venues or simply head to one of the more casual bars for a good time.
Hard Rock Cafés around the world offer a casual and fun night out. Hard Rock Café Bangkok is no different. Here you will find all the music and American-themed paraphernalia patrons have come to expect. They serve large portions of mainly Western dishes, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for lunch. The Hard Rock gets livelier as the night goes on and is a great place to have fun and enjoy some music during your stay. It’s convenient location at Siam Square adds to its attraction. The café closes at 1 a.m.
Red Sky is a fun rooftop venue with a spaceship décor. As might be expected, the views of Bangkok are fantastic and perfect for photo opportunities or simple enjoyment. Unlike some rooftop bars, Red Sky is a good spot for a date or a relatively quiet dinner out. There is comfortable seating as well as a huge selection of wines and mixed drinks. With jazz bands and singers to complete the night, an evening out at Red Sky is sure to be a favorite memory of Siam. It is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and is located in the Centara Grand.
The Roof Restaurant is one of the most laid-back of the rooftop bars in Bangkok. It has an especially nice view of the river and nearby buildings. Here you can enjoy European cuisine along with a great selection of drinks, including cocktails and wines. It is a popular venue at sunset and is equally nice when the stars shine above. Don’t worry about dressing up and be ready for a good night out with friends or new acquaintances. There is a separate bar area if you aren’t interested in a meal. The Roof is located at the Siam at Siam Hotel and is open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The simply-named Bar at Siam Square is an active venue with a lot to offer. There are more than a dozen new plasma TVs around the bar, allowing patrons to watch their favorite sports matches. You can also play pool or take advantage of fun games – even a play a bit of pinball. Even with these pub-like features, Bar @ Siam Square is stylish and modern. They serve food here and you will have plenty of choices when it comes to drinks. One cool feature is the so-called Happy Hour Game. If you win, your prize is a great deal on a drink; maybe even a free one. The bar is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
