Pranburi’s prime attraction is the beach, and most people come here to relax.
But for those who want activity, there is plenty to keep you busy, bicycle rentals to kitesurfing. Here are three things you won’t want to miss in Pranburi:
Pranburi’s restaurants offer a bounty of seafood—and there’s no reason you cannot catch your own. Local guides are available (check with your hotel or one of the many travel agencies) to go fishing in local waters for jungle perch, golden price carp, catfish and snakehead.
There are seven world-class courses within an hour of Pranburi, including 27-hole courses like Majestic Creek and the Imperial Lake View. One of the local 18-hole courses, the Springfield Golf Course, was designed by champion golfer Jack Nicklaus. Many courses offer spectacular water views. But do hire a caddy. It’s hot out there.
Massage, aromatherapy, body wraps, acupressure, hydrotherapy, reflexology and more are available in and around Pranburi. Most spas are attached to resorts, but there are independent facilities as well. Many also have restaurants serving health-conscious meals.
